Hi, I’m Nick Karimi, founder of MindTrail Tutoring based in Melbourne.

Teaching is not just my profession, it’s my passion and the most meaningful part of my life. I truly enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed independently.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Science (Physics). I am also completing a Master of Secondary Teaching at Monash University, consistently ranked the leading institution for education in Australia.

Before moving to Australia in 2016, I spent several years teaching Maths and Physics at secondary schools in my hometown. Alongside this, I have been a private tutor since 2006, supporting students of different levels and backgrounds. I also bring 7 years of experience as a software engineer in the IT industry, which allows me to connect academic concepts with real-world applications.

At MindTrail Tutoring, my goal is simple: to make learning clear, engaging, and confidence-building. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping students truly understand concepts.
